Exports on revenue for groups appears to be incorrect. I’m seemingly missing over 80% of transactions.
This is supposed to be the only source of truth for game revenue!
This brings up how insanely difficult it is, right now, to audit game revenue, and accurately. For companies running 7-fig revenue a month this is a really big problem, and puts a lot of liability on us as developers! I shouldn’t have to cross-check.

Hi, can we get the group id you are looking for ?
Also, is there a specific revenue type that you are looking for in download CSV. Sale of goods should be present in the CSV
It’s attached in the private message. Sale of goods, yea
Thanks for responding let me get back to you
Seems like there is a group payout plan setup, can you confirm. Amount should be credited to individual users based on the group payout plan along with remaining group revenue.
The revenue you see in creator analytics is revenue of the experience .
That’s correct.
Why is there a large discrepancy in the revenue exports? It should be 100% of the game’s sales/transactions, regardless of payout plans?
To give clarification: There is a 2-week waiting period for setting payout percentage in a group. I’m trying to back-calculate revenue I am owed during those 2 weeks.
You would see all the virtual sales for the game in the download - but amount or revenue shown will be according to the , in this case, group’s % in group payout plan. It seems like there are few users’ and group’s allocation in the payout . Downloads just downloads specific group’s or users (from my transaction) revenues but it will include all the sales.
Has this always been the case? From my experience, this is a recent change?
If I’m understanding correctly, then, is there no way to export transactions or revenue from a game with percentages?
Transactions can be exported but revenue/amount shown is net amount after excluding marketpace fees/recurring community payouts/commission
Oh that’s a big deal! I just want to make sure I understand this correctly:
- A group revenue export includes EVERY transaction, regardless of how percentages are set
- The revenue portion is only the cut the group receives, after marketplace fees
- Creator Rewards / Premium Payouts are not included
Hi, yes that is right. Let us know if there are any other questions if not feel free to close this post .
Last question -
If there is no percentage allocated to the group (all 100% is going to user(s)), will transactions show up on the export? or nothing?
Sure if group has been assigned 0% - the transactions will still show but the revenue / amount would be 0
Thanks for the clarification! I lost tens of thousands of dollars because I didn’t know this
We really need a more reliable way to audit revenue on a per-game basis
